Baltimore City Council Votes to Shut Down Polluting Industries.

On February 11, 2019, the Baltimore City Council passed a unanimous vote to approve the Baltimore Clean Air Act. This act would force the two biggest polluting facilities, the Wheelabrator Trash incinerator and Curtis Bay Energy, to implement stricter environmental protections or shut-down completely.
