Jadakiss, Wale, Backyard Band, Mumu Fresh, and More Headline First Annual Quality of Life Advocacy Day and Festival

The Equity or Else Campaign, led by the Journey for Justice Alliance, is heading to Washington, DC September 22-24th, 2022 for the first annual Quality of Life Advocacy Day and Festival. On Thursday, September 22nd, an intergenerational caravan of community residents, educators, organizers, religious leaders, local elected officials, and artists will gather on Capitol Hill for a national press briefing and advocacy day introducing the Quality of Life demands created through a year-long process of community feedback and townhall meetings.

Participants will then gather on Saturday, September 24th, at RFK Stadium for the Quality of Life festival and concert. The festival brings together music and organizations from various social, educational, and environmental justice issue areas to not only celebrate their victories but also empower them for more! Program starts at 9:00 AM with music throughout the day. 

Artists performing include Back Yard Band, Mumu Fresh, Jadakiss, Wale, and more!
