PATRICIA PICCININI’S EXHIBITION IS PART HUMAN + CREATURE
Australian artist Patricia Piccinini has a gift for creating part-human and part-animal creatures, that are shown in lifelike detail. Patricia’s work always begins with drawing before developing further ideas of fabrication. Since 2005 she has been working out of a space in Collingwood, Melbourne with a small team of technicians who help to fabricate the pieces. In 2016 her exhibition in Rio de Janeiro created an international buzz and intrigue within the art communities.
